"An Ahli delegation led by chairman Hassan Hamdi will fly to Germany on Wednesday in order to sign a partnership deal with Bayern Munich," the report says.
"The journey is in response to the invitation from Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in an attempt to discuss means of cooperation between the two clubs.
"This is a very important step for Ahli. It reflects the board's eagerness to take the club to the next level and place it among the world's best."
Hamdi will travel along with vice-chairman Mahmoud Al-Khatib and board member Khaled Mortagi, who played a vital role establishing the link with Bayern officials.
