Glo-CAF 2009 Best African Coach Sellas Tetteh: I Was The Obvious Choice
The World U-20 winning coach reaps from his labour...
By K.N.S Mensah, Goal.com
He said: "My credentials are clear, and what I have done with the Under-20s was too much for anybody to ignore, so at least it was so clear.
"It is self satisfaction that there's dignity in labour. If you work very hard, you get good results and I'm very lucky and am one in a million and it has happen to me and I so love that."
The usually quiet coach said his next major task is to mould the Rwandan national team into a more competitive side.
“I want to see it get going until I reach where God would want to take me to.”
Tetteh’s highlight of 2009 was when he scooped both the Africa and World Youth Championships with Ghana's Under-20 side. He raced ahead of TP Mazembe coach Diego Garzitto and Nigeria's Under-17 coach John Obuh to step into the shoes of his mentor Cecil Jones Attuquayefio.
