Egypt Midfielder Mohamed Shawky Set For Turkey Move – Agent
His agent asserted that the Middlesbrough player will conclude negotiations on Monday.
Egypt midfielder Mohamed Shawky is close to leaving English Championship side, Middlesbrough, for a fresh stint in the Turkish Super league.
His agent, Nader Shawki, told Filgoal.com that the deal will be concluded by Monday.
"We have an offer from a top club in Turkey. I'll be there on Monday to conclude negotiations," Shawki said.
"I don't wish to reveal the name of the club until we have a deal," he added.
The midfielder has yet to feature for Boro in the league so far this season. He only made the bench in last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Manchester City.
The 28-year-old's contract at the Riverside expires next summer and his absence from competitive action cost him a place in Egypt's squad for the African Cup of Nations in Angola which starts on Sunday.
