The head coach of the Ghana league champions believes his job is secure after the victory over Asante Kotoko...Hearts of Oak coach Ayman Yamani feels his job is safe after beating arch-rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
Media reports had been rife in the West African country with talk that the former Zamalek player would likely have been facing the sack if he had lost to his rivals last weekend.
Yamani rubbished the reports but also stated that he now felt safe and is focused on future matches.
"I don't know where all these reports are coming from but I am not afraid at all because as far as I am concerned I am still in charge.
"We played very well against Kotoko and it was a massive improvement from our previous matches and we are happy we achieved our goal.
"I am not perturbed at all with these reports because they are not true and I will leave it like that,” the Egyptian told Ghanasoccernet.com.
Hearts of Oak have gone through series of defeats this season and are struggling to make it to the top of the league table.
