According to infosfoot.net, Tunisian international midfielder Ousemma Darragi is set to miss the first leg of the North African Football Union’s (UNAF) Champions Winner’s Cup final tomorrow. The player is suffering from an unspecified but reportedly minor injury that will necessitate some downtime.

The news comes after the youngster looked far from his usual best in his club side’s highly anticipated Tunis derby matchup versus Club Africain that finished 1-1 and kept his team, Esperance Sportive de Tunis, four points clear of their city rivals.

Darragi’s absence is notable considering his importance in Faouzi Benzarti’s lineup but also his contributions last season in the final of the Arab Champions league that pitted his team against tomorrow’s opponents, ES Setif, who are still recovering from having let the CAF Confederations Cup slip out of their hands versus Stade Malien last weekend.

Last season, Darragi scored an away goal in Algeria before sealing the title win with a penalty kick in the final seconds of the match in the reverse fixture.
