Report: Morocco To Play Saudi Arabia In December

The Atlas Lions could face off against the Green Falcons this month...

Morocco
According to Mountakhab.net, the Moroccan national team may take part in an international friendly match versus their Saudi Arabian counterparts later this month.

The match would serve as useful preparation for the Green Falcons who are already looking forward to the 2011 AFC Asian Cup after their World Cup qualifying exit at the hands of Bahrain.

Meanwhile, this could potentially be the chance for the Atlas Lions to start anew after a miserable World Cup qualifying campaign that saw them even miss out on a place at the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Angola this January.

The Moroccan Royal Football Federation has yet to confirm the friendly but that is reportedly simply because they currently are more focused on filling their head coaching void. Eric Gerets is currently rumored to be the most viable candidate for the post.
