Algeria To Train In France Before African Cup Of Nations
Rabah Saadane’s squad will begin their training on the December 26...
According dzfoot.net, the Algerian Football Federation has
reportedly settled on a training facility in the south of France as the location
of the Greens’ upcoming training camp, where they will tune up for the African
Cup of Nations.
FA President Mohamed Raouaraoua and national team coach Rabah Saadane travelled to Italy to attempt to book the Coverciano centre in Florence, like they had done prior to their trip to Cairo, but found that the facilities were booked for the dates requested.
The colleagues then headed to Rome, but decided against being based there.
Thus the Fennecs will begin their training camp on the December 26 in France and end it on January 7, when they travel to Angola on a chartered flight to compete in their first continental tournament since the 2004 edition in Tunisia.
The World Cup bound Algerians begin their adventure by facing Malawi on the January 11 in Luanda. They have been drawn in a group that includes the hosts, Angola, as well as Mali.
