Nigeria Super Eagles will begin their preparation for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Namibia after earlier picking to train in South Africa, officials have disclosed.

In a communique signed by board member, Shehu Adamu, after the meeting of the executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja on Wednesday, the residential camp in Namibia will open on December 28.

It is believed that Nigeria opted for Namibia after it was brought to the attention of officials that the weather there would be a lot similar to that of Angola.

Nigeria coach, Shuaibu Amodu, is expected to soon make public his list of invitees for this training camp.

The Super Eagles are drawn in Group C of the 2010 Nations Cup along with defending champions Egypt, Mozambique and Benin.
