The Super Eagles of Nigeria will begin preparations for next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Angola when they set up a residential training camp in South Africa from December 28, officials have disclosed.

Top Nigeria team official, Emmanuel Attah, informed reporters that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have already approved coach Shuaibu Amodu's programme for the tournament, which kicks off on January 10 in Luanda, Angola.

Nigeria are not seeded for the 2010 Nations Cup after they were dumped in the quarter-final of the tournament by hosts Ghana last year.

The 2010 Nations Cup draw will take place in Angola on Friday.
