Stephane Sessegnon Already Back in Paris

After Benin's victory over Sudan on Saturday, PSG's Stephane Sessegnon was back to work on Monday afternoon.

Benin beat Sudan in Khartum this Saturday (2-1) in their last match of the joint qualifiers and managed to finish second in Group D ahead of Mali and just behind Ghana, who were just superior to everyone on this campaign.

But to the surprise of most, Sessegnon, who had the permission to stay until Wednesday to show up was present on Monday afternoon for Paris Saint-Germain's first workout of the week prior to the "Classico" of the Ligue 1 between them and their arch-rivals, Olympique de Marseille.

The match will take place on November 20th, an unusual date because the actual first match was postponed because of the H1N1 flu. While Marseille is starting to get back into it with after humiliating FC Zurich (6-1) in the Champions League and drawing Olympique Lyonnais (5-5) in what is easily a contender for "match of the decade", Paris Saint-Germain are not at their best despite a great mercato and a brand new approach with Antoine Kombouaré.

The Friday match could help these teams get close to their respective goals as Marseille is eighth in the standings and six points behind leader Bordeau,x while Paris is twelfth with nine points less than the defending  champions.
