Algeria Coach Rabah Saadane Unfazed By Injury Problems Ahead Of World Cup Decider

Algeria will be okay even without top stars like Karim Ziani, their coach has assured.

Algeria will cope nicely against Egypt even without some of their top stars who are battling to be fit for the World Cup qualifying game, according to their experienced coach Rabah Saadane.

The Desert Foxes of Algeria are sweating over the fitness of key stars including Madjid Bougherra, Antar Yahia and Karim Ziani ahesad of Saturday's crucial World Cup qualifier in Cairo, but Saadane has remained upbeat he has capable replacements for these players.

"That’s the way it is in football, the future is unpredictable and we have to adapt to the new situation especially that we have good substitutes," disclosed the coach.

Algeria are preparing at the Covercianno training center in Italy for this match because Saadane demands maximum concentration from them.

"Italy became the world champion after preparing in the same place before moving to Germany," Saadane told Echoroukonline.

"I don’t pay attention to the prevailing weather conditions because what really matters for me is the concentration of the players before the match."

Algeria lead their qualifying group but will lose out to regional rivals Egypt if they fall by three clear goals at the weekend, while a 2-0 defeat will mean a play-off at a neutral venue.
