Yanga FC Insist That Kenyan Baraza Is Still Their Player

Young Africans have rubbished
rumours that Mike Baraza will be offloaded to join their bitter rivals
Simba.
The club’s information officer, Louis Sendeu, told The Citizen that Baraza has a valid contract with Young Africans and the decision to axe him would have to come from coach Kosta Papic and the executive committee.
“All transfer speculations about Baraza aren’t true because no single meeting has been held to discuss the fate of any player,” he said.
“He is still our player unless the coach decides otherwise. We respect his contribution for the team,” he added.
However, Sendeu disclosed that the club’s executive committee would meet tomorrow to discuss the registration exercise during this mini-transfer window that opened on Sunday and would end on November 30.
Yanga are expected to drop at least five of their 10 foreign players.
