Paul Obiefule Unsure Of Future After Lyn Oslo's Relegation
The midfielder is mulling his options as a result of his club's demotion...
Nigeria international midfielder Paul Obiefule has disclosed that he does not know what the future holds for him following the relegation of his Norwegian club Lyn Oslo in the outgoing season.
The former Viborg ace, who is nursing a knee injury that may require about a month and a half to heal, said he is now looking forward to the January transfer window.
"We just have to wait and see what happens," Obiefule told Nigerian sports radio Brila FM.
"It would be good if I can move by the next transfer window, but if that does not happen, I would have to stay and play for Lyn in the lower league."
The 23-year-old Obiefule has over a dozen caps for Nigeria but has been left out of the Super Eagles set-up since the 2006 Nations Cup in Egypt.
The player, who signed for Lyn in 2007, said he has been advised by doctors to take a rest to overcome his knee injury.
