Egyptian referees now picked for Sunday's CAF Champions League first leg final.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have replaced the match referees for Sunday's CAF Champions League first leg final between Nigeria's Heartland and TP Mazembe of DR Congo.
According to an official statement by CAF, South African referees Jerome Damon, Enock Molefe, Abdul Basit Ebrahim to be assisted by Cameroonian Evariste Mekounde have now been replaced by Egyptian referees Abdel Fatah Essam, Hassan Sherif, Mohamed Waleed and Farouk Mohamed.
No reason was given for this change.
CAF had also announced the shift in the first leg final from Saturday to Sunday.
For the return leg final in Lubumbashi, Algerian referee Mohamed Benouza will be in charge.
