Since he signed a one-year contract with Sheffield United in the English Football League Championship, Senegalese international striker Henri Camara (32) seems like a fresh new man.

He now plans to play as long as possible, targetting a career lasting into his 40s. In an interview with the APS news agency, he explained his future aspirations.

"Physically, I am well and I feel very fit," he noted. "When I met the doctor for the medical visit, he made me do a battery of tests and he could hardly believe that I am 32-years-old. He asked me if I was really that age, which surprised me, because for him, I could easily play for another eight years."

The former Sedan player, who also said he preferred to move to Sheffield United to Boulogne-Sur-Mer in Ligue 1, said his very healthy lifestyle was the reason why he was still in top physical condition.

Henri Camara is the most capped Senegalese player of all time, boasting 99 appearances, and he is also their most prolific striker, having found the net 29 times. He hasn't, unlike many of his World Cup 2002 team-mates, announced his retirement from the international scene.
