Sekondi Hasaacas' Joseph Bissah Tops Ghana League Goals Chart
The midfielder has scored three goals in as many weeks of action in the Ghana Premier League...
Sekondi Hasaacas midfielder Joseph Ato Bissah is leading scorer in the Ghana Premier League after three rounds of matches.
Bissah, captain of his side, has scored three times and is closely followed by Richard Mpong of Kessben, who has netted two goals.
Bissah, nicknamed 'Zola' after ex-Italy international Gianfranco, is a highly-rated central midfielder whose goals helped Hasaacas escape relegation last season.
This season, as many as 39 players have scored a goal each, while a total of 43 strikes have so far been recorded.
Last season's goal king, Alex Asamoah, who features for Asante Kotoko, has yet to get his name on the scoreboard thus far.
Asamoah netted 16 goals last season, with most of his efforts coming in the last ten games to help Kotoko stage a remarkable but unsuccessful fight to retain their championship.
