Report: Jose Romao Returns As Raja Casablanca Coach
The Portuguese trainer replaces Carlos Mozer at the head of the Moroccan side.
According to Mountakhab.net, members of Raja’s technical board were unimpressed with the results that Mozer had been compiling in his brief time at the helm even though he hadn’t even lost a match yet. His record in all competitions stands at two wins and three draws with the Moroccan outfit.
Nevertheless, the fact that Romao, who led the “Rajaouis” to a league title last season, was still available and had just returned to the North African country after lengthy but ultimately unsuccessful negotiations with the “Arab Juventus” clearly had bearing on the choice to sack the former Inter Luanda manager who they hired as recently as July.
