Injury May Rule Out Nigeria's Sani Kaita From World Cup Qualifier Against Kenya
Hamstring injury set to sideline midfielder for at least a month...
Nigeria midfielder Sani Kaita is likely to miss next month's crucial World Cup qualifier away to Kenya after he suffered a hamstring injury while training with his Russian club Locomotiv Moscow last week.
Kaita will be sidelined for at least a month as a result of the injury, sources close to the player disclosed.
"He suffered the injury in training soon after he returned from Nigeria after the match against Mozambique. He has been told he will be sidelined for at least a month," a source told Goal.com
The former Sparta Rotterdam defensive midfielder was an unused substitute in a World Cup qualifier against Mozambique in Abuja earlier this month.
