Nigeria Under-20 goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has signed a four-year contract with Spanish third flight club Pontevedra, a top source has confirmed to Goal.com
Ajiboye, who turned 19 last month, was the hero when Nigeria won their third FIFA U-17 World Cup two years ago in Korea, pulling off several saves in the penalty shootout victory against Spain.
He has thus joined several of his team-mates from that schoolboy team - Macauley Chrisantus, Rabiu Ibrahim, Yakubu Alfa and Lukman Haruna - who have moved to Europe.
The former Wikki Tourists star has now regained top spot in his country's U-20 team bound for next week's World Cup in Egypt.
Ajiboye's new club feature in the Segunda Division B - Group 1. They enjoyed their best spell in the 60s, playing in the Spanish top flight in the 1963 season.
