The Kenyan international, who moved to Yanga last year from arch-rivals Simba, has passed his trials at the German second flight side.,
Yanga secretary general Lucas Kisasa told The Daily News in Dar es Salaam that the Kenyan international excelled in his brief trials with the German club. However, he declined to reveal the fee, calling it a “club secret".
The official said the funds from the transfer would help cover some of the costs the club incurred in this season's league, revealing that the club has spent over Ush500m (€280,000) on new player transfers alone.
The Kenyan international joined Yanga last season from arch-rivals Simba, but defender got the opportunity to pursue his career at German club after he was recommended by Kenyan national team coach Antoine Hey.
The former Tusker ace has been regularly outstanding in the Kenyan national side's defence during the 2010 Africa Cup/World Cup qualifying games.
