Algeria Star Rabie Meftah: Adductor Injury Is Not Serious
The Algerian right-back has said that he is not feeling any pain after recuperating from inflammation in his adductors.
Algerian international defender Rabie Meftah has told Le
Buteur magazine that he is fully recovered from an adductor injury that caused
him to miss the end of training on Saturday and doesn’t expect it trouble him
much longer provided he doesn’t over-exert himself.
“Everything is fine and back in place. After a good night’s rest and some treatment received the next morning I was able to reintegrate myself into the group in time. At the beginning it was just a question of trying to see what the situation was and, in the end, I was able to finish the session. I didn’t feel any pain,” he explained.
Meanwhile the JSK player did express his intention not to put any undue pressure on himself during the sensitive period of recovery for this particular injury which has caused footballers to miss significant playing time.
“An adductors injury is never easy to handle. Even now I have to take care because it can come back at any moment. I’m trying to push myself too much. Especially in these first days, I have to wait for it to disappear completely,” he continued.
