Carlos Mozer Takes Over At Raja Casablanca
The Brazilian coach will try to lead the club to glory in the Moroccan Botola League as he takes over from Jose Romao.
Mozer is better known for his playing days but Rajaoui’s board members seem to be convinced that the Brazilian can translate his successes in Angola with Interclube (2007 League Champion and 2008 Supercup Champion) to the North African country.
The 48-year-old, who was also an assistant to Jose Mourinho at Benfica during the 2000-01 season, has signed a one year contract with his new team.
The news could mean that Jose Romao is now the frontrunner to replace Roger Lemerre who was sacked by the Moroccan Royal Football Federation following a run of unimpressive results in World Cup qualifying.
