Terik Sektioui Joins Ajman Of UAE

The veteran Moroccan winger has opted for a lucrative salary rather than stay put in Europe...

Terik Sektioui has signed for UAE club Ajman in a deal that will see the 32-year-old Moroccan winger pocket 1.2 million Euros a season.

Sektioui, an international since 2000, had to shun several offers in Europe to move to the Gulf.

Reports have linked him with a switch to French club Olympique Marseille and several English clubs.

Sektioui started out in Europe with Auxerre in France in 1997. His most rewarding stint was with Portuguese club FC Porto, where he featured between 2006-2009. He has also played in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
