Rwanda Excuse Belgium Pro
Rwanda have excused midfielder Jimmy Mulisa, of Belgian side Rosarel FC, from next week's friendly in Lome against Togo because of club committments.
According to the chief executive of the Rwanda Football Fedration, Jules Kalisa, Mulisa has been allowed to stay back and play for his Belgian second division club.
However, six overseas-based players have been called up for the trip to Togo. They are Hamad Ndikumana (Omonio Nicosia/Cyprus), Olivier Karekezi (Ham Kam/Norway), Said Abedi (Difaa El Jadida), Bobo Bola (Landskrona Bois/Sweden), Henry Munyaneza (Germinal Beerschot/Belgium) and Abubakary Saddou.
The friendly will serve as part of Rwanda's preparations for the third round of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
Rwanda are drawn against Algeria, Egypt and Zambia in Group Three of the qualifying tournament.
