Cameroonian champions Coton Sport Garoua are already preparing for the departure of several of the players who helped them reach their first-ever CAF Champions League final this year.
Coton Sport, who face Al Ahly in next month’s Champions League final, are set to lose several of their stars performers from this year’s international campaign.
Niger international goalkeeper Daouda Kassali, Kamilou Daouda, Ahmadou Ngomna and N’nouck Minka are all set to leave for pastures new.
Goalkeeper Kassali, for one, is on his way to Turkey and his place has already been taken up by Alladoum Kolomba, who has been signed from another Cameroonian club Sahel de Maroua.
The club from the North of Cameroon have thus far recruited 14 new players including the Burkinabe Wilfried da Hague from the FC 105 of Gabon, defender Salif Keita and striker Hilaire Momi both from Central Africa Republic.
Coton Sport, who were founded in 1986, are gunning for a treble next year – the league, cup and CAF Champions League.
