African Nations Cup: Cameroon Striker Samuel Eto'o Wary Of Egypt Threat

The prolific hitman has made it clear that Cameroon face a difficult task beating Egypt...

Cameroon struggled to make it through the group phase of the African Nations Cup and now face a difficult quarter-final match against Egypt. Striker Samuel Eto'o is aware of the class of the Egyptians, but the Inter star is confident that Cameroon have what it takes to record a good result.

"They are a team with a lot of experience. There are three or four players in their side who have achieved a lot," Eto'o told local reporters.

"They are also always well prepared, but I’m confident in the ability of our players and the strategy of our coach for the match.

“The players who will play will know they have to battle. We have to outrun the Egyptians and finally outscore them.

Cameroon lost their opening game against Gabon 1-0 but have since improved, recording a win against Zambia and a draw against Tunisia.
