Socceroo James Troisi still on Juventus radar, says agent and father

The 24-year-old's father revealed the Australia international could still be signed by the Serie A champions despite the collapse of a deal with Pescara
Socceroo James Troisi is still on the radar of Serie A champions Juventus and has a good chance of going to play in Italy, his father has revealed.The 24-year-old free agent recently was highly linked by Sky Sport Italia to La Vecchia Signora as part of a deal which would have taken Pescara talent Marco Verratti to Antonio Conte's side.
However the newly-promoted club released an official statement in which they confirmed their will to keep hold of their 19-year-old midfielder.
Despite the collapsed deal, Troisi's father Alby, who also works as his agent, insisted Juventus is still targeting the former Kayserispor attacker, who could now be involved in negotiations for Atalanta striker Manolo Gabbiadini, according to Sky Sport Italia.
"I am aware that the Pescara side of the deal is now not going to happen but we have been in touch with Juve and negotiations are continuing and hopefully something will be resolved in the next few days,” Alby Troisi is quoted as saying by The World Game.
"I am optimistic he will still join Juve. James is very keen to play in Europe and he won't probably look elsewhere until those avenues are exhausted.
“It's my understanding that Juve are still keen and the deal, to my understanding, is still alive. He will not obviously be going to Pescara now but that doesn't mean he will not still be signed by Juve and placed on loan elsewhere."
