Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr interested in Everton's Tim Cahill - report
The Australia international has battled for form ever since the 2011 Asian Cup and there's speculation he could be let go by the Toffees with a big-money offer looming
Socceroo Tim Cahill is wanted by five-time Saudi Arabian champions Al Nasr, according to English reports. The Daily Mail has reported the Riyadh-based outfit is ready to make a big-money offer for the 32-year-old Everton attacker.
Cahill endured a difficult 2011-12 campaign with the Toffees, only managing three goals and three assists in 41 appearances for the club, his worst return since his move from Millwall in 2004.
The Australia international had struck nine goals and was arguably in career-best form during the 2010-11 season, before heading to the 2011 Asian Cup where he battled a foot injury and has struggled to re-discover his best since.
According to The Mirror, Everton boss David Moyes is keen to trim his budget to enable him to freshen up his squad. Cahill is reportedly one of the club's top earners.
Al Nasr, who are currently coached by Colombian Francisco Maturana, have previously had Australian defender Jon McKain on their books.
