Aberdeen boss Craig Brown keen on Borussia Monchengladbach's Australian striker Mathew Leckie
The Australia youth international is on the radar of the Scottish Premier League outfit who are keen to bolster their attacking options
By Ben Somerford
According to the Evening Express, Brown said he was keen to bolster his attacking options with the 20-year-old along with Falkirk's Farid El Alagui.
Leckie joined Monchengladbach from A-League club Adelaide United prior to the 2011-12 season and he has since made seven appearances off the bench for the Bundesliga outfit in all competitions.
The young striker, who can also play on the right wing, scored twice in pre-season when Monchengladbach defeated Aberdeen 5-2 in a friendly, which is believed to have prompted Brown's admiration.
Aberdeen are currently ninth in Scotland's Premier League having scored just 25 goals in 23 matches.
