Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has selected his 22-man squad for the first match of the English Premier League club's pre-season tour of Australia.

The list of players is a strong one, including Socceroo Mark Schwarzer and England internationals Danny Murphy and Andrew Johnson.

The likes of towering centre-back Brede Hangeland and the USA's Clint Dempsey have not been included as the London club prepare for an August 15 start to the Premier League season, when they will travel to face Portsmouth away from home.

Their first clash against the Gold Coast will be at Skilled Park on July 8, followed three days later by a match against reigning A-League champions the Melbourne Victory.

They complete their tour against the Perth Glory at Members Equity Stadium on July 15.

Fulham Squad: Mark Schwarzer, Christopher Baird, Matthew Briggs, Zoltan Gera, Aaron Hughes, Andrew Johnson, Edward Johnson, Toni Kallio, Diomansy Kamara, Stephen Kelly, Seol Kihyeon, Adrian Leijer, Danny Murphy, Erik Nevland, John Pantsil, Matthew Saunders, Chris Smalling, David Stockdale, Fredrik Stoor Seikkinen, Andranik Timotian Samarani, Bobby Zamora, Pascal Zuberbuhler.
