Sevilla winger Jesus Navas has revealed that he is eagerly anticipating the announcement of Vicente Del Bosque's Spain squad for the upcoming friendlies against Argentina and Austria.

Navas, who turns 24 next week, is looking to make his debut for La Furia Roja after apparently coming to terms with anxiety problems, which have prevented him from travelling away from home for extended periods until now.

The winger admitted that a meeting with Spain assistant coach Fernando Hierro has relaxed him, and that he is now ready to link up with the international side.

"When I had the conversation with Hierro that gave me peace of mind. I really want to go, and tomorrow I'll be awaiting to hear the list," he told Canal+.

"Besides [Alvaro] Negredo I have been in the Under 21 squad with [David] Silva, [Andres] Iniesta and Sergio Ramos who are young like me and the truth is I really feel like going."

Navas stressed that he is aware that he has to deliver on the field in order to be included in the squad on a regular basis.

"The important thing is to do well on the field and do what the coach asks. I'm moving up in the queue," he declared.
