USA Striker Charlie Davies Out Of Intensive Care

USA striker Charlie Davies, who was involved in a fatal car accident last week, is out of intensive care and able to receive visitors.
The 23-year-old suffered a lacerated bladder, fractures to the tibia and femur bones in his right leg, facial fractures and a fracture of his left elbow in the accident which left a female passenger dead.
He will have surgery next week on his broken elbow and may require further surgery as he begins his rehabilitation.
Davies will miss the remainder of the season and possibly even the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
