Bolton Wanderers Not Interested In Newcastle United's Damien Duff
Despite reports to the contrary, Gary Megson isn't interested in the Irish winger...
Bolton Wanderers have moved to distance themselves from transfer talk linking them with Newcastle United's Damien Duff, according to The Manchester Evening News.
Earlier reports had indicated a deal was in the offing, with the Magpies seemingly willing to let the player go in order to reduce their wage bill.
However, Megson has decided to sign wideman Lee Chung-Yong from Seoul rather than pursue any interest in Duff.
In other transfer news, Bolton currently have no interest in signing Hull City defender Sam Ricketts. This may change in the near future, as Everton are reportedly lining up Bolton's Gary Cahill to replace Joleon Lescott, should Manchester City tempt manager David Moyes into a deal.
