Milan Sign Ruud Gullit

Milan have re-signed Ruud Gullit 15 years after he left the club in an attempt to help the side move forwards...

Ruud Gullit
The former striker has joined the Rossoneri but it's not the football team that he will be playing for.

Gullit will be the new club ambassador for Northen Europe and he will be working alongside the scouts and talents spotters, in particular, he will be used to scour the up and coming youth products in the Eredivisie.

Gullit was in the club offices in Via Turati where he had a meeting with vice-president Adriano Galliani and sporting director Ariedo Braida as well as a host of other club officials who gave him the seal of approval.

The former Holland international visited the trophy room where he posed for pictures. He will continue his job as a football pundit but his main task is to observe any players who may be good enough for the Rossoneri.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti is a great friend of Gullit and he will be delighted to have him back alongside.

Meanwhile, Marco Borriello seems to be recovering from injury and he has been training with the team as he works himself back to full fitness. The former Genoa hit-man is likely to return for the game against Sampdoria in week seven.
