The 29 year old admitted as much on the eve of Barça’s Champions League clash with Ukrainian outfit, Shakhtar Donetsk.
“Last year, I said that the fitness training here was different to what I had experienced in France, but all that has changed this season,” he told reporters at the pre-match interviews.
“Yet, I am sure that I am not at my best level at present. I don’t know why that is but I’m working very hard in training and I hope to be 100% for tomorrow’s (Wednesday) game,” confided Abidal.
