According to sources, Chelsea defender Paulo Ferreira could be set for a deadline day move across the English capital...Sky Sports News is reporting that Portuguese right-back Paulo Ferreira could become the latest player to head for the Stamford Bridge exit door.
The 29-year-old full-back has seen his place in the side surrendered to Jose Bosingwa since Luiz Felipe Scolari's arrival at the helm of Chelsea, despite featuring prominently for the Brazilian tactician in the Portugal set-up.
A further concern for Ferreira is the form of Juliano Belletti, who is now the heir apparent to the right-back slot at the Bridge.
With first-team action looking increasingly limited for the ex-Porto stalwart, it has emerged that West Ham United are prepared to offer Ferreira an escape route.
Sky Sports News has revealed that Ferreira has travelled across London in order to finalise a deal with the Boleyn Ground outfit.
