Genoa Ready To Pounce For Crespo?
Inter striker Hernan Crespo has now been linked with a move to Genoa as their search for a striker continues, according to Calciomercato.
I Grifoni have joined Lazio, Sampdoria,
Chievo and a number of other clubs in the race to sign the former Chelsea hit-man.
Crespo doesn’t seem a part of the plans at Inter and he is likely to be shipped out before the transfer window closes on August 31.
Genoa coach Gianpiero Gasperini and sporting director Rino Foschi have been looking for a decent finisher and the Argentine has now popped up on their radar.
Calciomercato claims the Rossoblu are making enquiries and a deal is likely take off soon as they move and shake for the prolific forward. The former Parma man is currently earning €3.5m per season but he may have to take a pay cut in order to make the switch.
Reports suggest he will move to Marassi on a loan deal with Genoa paying three quarters of his wages and Inter the remainder.
Crespo has stated his ambition to remain in Serie A and it seems as if a battle for his signature is on the horizon as various clubs push and shove to get their man.
