Albelda Told He Is Staying At Valencia
David Albelda is set to stay at Valencia after being told first-hand that he was still a part of the club's plans by the new board over the weekend.

The 30-year-old midfielder has been told all summer that he can look for a new club, but only if any interested parties are willing to pay los Ché's €3m asking price.
Former sporting director Juan Sánchez was keen to sell him last term and Xabier Azkargorta repeated that when he took over the position in the summer.
Fortunately for Albelda, Azkargorta left Mestalla when Juan Villalonga's brief reign in charge came to an end and now he has been given a second chance.
New president, Vicente Soriano, asked his number two, Fernando Gómez, to hold talks with Albelda's agent, Alberto Toldrá, to inform him that he was now wanted.
It is a move that will please the midfielder who has spent his entire career at Valencia and always stated that he did not want to leave, but was being forced out.
Ronald Koeman froze out Albelda, Santi Cañizares and Miguel Ángel Angulo when he took over last season and the goalkeeper left while the latter has won his place back in the squad.
Now Albelda is set for a return to normality and coach Unai Emery will be pleased, even if it does mean that he now has yet another midfielder to slot into an already busy squad.
