Mourinho Says No To Deco
Sports daily Record says José Mourinho does not plan to bring Deco with him to Inter Milan...
The Brazilian-born player has indicated that he is on his way out of Camp Nou, hinting that Italy and England are the only destinations he is considering.
Deco has been linked with a move to Inter Milan to join José Mourinho, the coach he achieved international recognition under during his five-year spell at FC Porto.
But the Portuguese paper acknowledges that the 30-year-old is not part of the plans of The Special One, who is expected to be appointed as manager of the Nerazzurri in the next few days.
This is the second time that Mourinho and Deco fail to reunite. In 2004, when Mourinho was appointed as the successor of Claudio Ranieri, Deco stated that he would rather move to Barcelona than follow his former coach to Chelsea.
Deco must now find a new challenge in his career as he is not part of Jose Guardiola's first-team plans at Barcelona. As for Mourinho, the Portuguese coach wants to bring in Frank Lampard, and it is believed that the Italian club will begin negotiations for the 29-year-old.
