Schalke Trainer Rutten Bemoans Offside Goal
Under-pressure Schalke trainer Fred Rutten saw more pressure heaped upon after seeing his side go down to a 2-1 defeat to his former side Twente Enschede.

The Königsblauen are now relying upon other results in their group to decide whether they make it through to the next phase.
An early goal from Rob Wielart put the Dutch side in front and Kenneth Perez added a second ten minutes into the second half. Schalke’s luck just wasn’t in although Gerald Asamoah did pull one back.
“The team played with passion and worked hard, but they just lacked that little bit of luck” trainer Rutten said after the match.
“In such a situation everything seems to come together at once.
“The ball goes out after hitting the post and then they score a goal following a mistake from the referee as it was clearly offside” he added.
