Deportivo La Coruña may have to sell Pablo Álvarez to prevent him leaving for free next summer despite Miguel Ángel Lotina asking the board not to let him leave.

The 28-year-old is wanted by Racing Santander, Málaga and Real Zaragoza and all three have made concrete bids to secure his services in the past few days.
Having spent the second half of last season on loan at Racing, Álvarez has told his agent that he would prefer to return their, but the Cantabrian club do not want to pay anything for him.
It is the same story with the other two interested parties because the former Sporting Giijón midfielder's current contract at Riazor expires next summer.
Álvarez's agent, José Luis Tamargo, confirmed that the trio of clubs have made themselves known, but recognised that only Deportivo could decide whether he would go or stay.
"Right now, we have offers from three teams for Pablo Álvarez, but the decision does not come down to us," he told Marca.
Lotina has asked Depor president, Augusto Lendoiro, to ensure that the player does not leave but whether that request will be listened to remains to be seen.
