Villarreal might have drawn with Valencia at the weekend but the fact they have picked up just one point from their last four matches cannot be forgotten.

El Submarino Amarillo desperately need to start winning again if they are to compete for the top four places as midfielder Ariel Ibagaza admitted as much to Marca today.

"Now we have to take three points from each game," he declared. "Our next two home games are very important but they will be difficult, as anyone can beat anyone nowadays."

Worryingly for Villarreal, it seemed like they were going to be blown away by Valencia at the weekend after going two goals down early. However, they fought back well to draw 3-3 in the derby game, and Ibagaza believes this gives them something to work with.

"The point against Valencia will serve as a reaction, since we take pride from the best moments," he mused. "We wanted to take a minimum of seven points from the last twelve and, although in the end this was not possible, what was important was that the team put in a good effort each time."

Indeed, Ibagaza was one of the best players against Valencia but he says he is most happy just playing again and that when he plays he tries to do the best he possibly can.
