Fee: €3.5 million
Contract: June 2015
Galatasaray have confirmed the arrival of right-back Emmanuel Eboue from Arsenal for a fee of €3.5 million, the club announced on Tuesday.
Eboue has left the Emirates after six years in the English capital and will now try his luck in Turkey after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal worth up to €2.5 million per season.
A statement on the Turkish outfit's official website reads:
"Arsenal have agreed to sell Emmanuel Eboue for the beginning of the 2011-12 season. The transfer fee that will be paid to Arsenal is €3.5 million. For the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, he will receive €2.5m for each campaign, and then €2.2m for each of the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons."
The 28-year-old, who has 61 caps for Ivory Coast, follows in the footsteps of Johan Elmander, Felipe Melo, Tomas Ujfalusi and Fernando Muslera to Galatasaray this season after new president Unal Aysal assumed control of the club earlier in the summer.
