A week after securing the Swedish league title, AIK Solna completed the first double in their history by overcoming IFK Goteborg 2-0 in the Swedish Cup final at Rasunda Stadium.

Goteborg were also the victims when AIK beat them 2-1 last Sunday to sew up the Allsvenskan crown, and they were unable to grab their revenge in the show-piece final.

Argentine forward Ivan Obolo gave AIK the lead when he pounced on a rebound from goalkeeper Kim Christensen in the 72nd minute.

Brazilian forward Antonio Flavio made things even worse for IFK when he curled the ball past the Goteborg 'keeper, securing the result in added time after some neat combination play with Obolo.

"I'm incredibly proud that we managed to win the double. It can't get any better than this," head coach Mikael Stahre told the press after the game.
