Wigan Too Cold For Klasnic
The latest reports from England suggest that Wigan's weather has cost Steve Bruce the chance to sign Croatian star Ivan Klasnic.

Although it sounds like just another case of a hot-blooded international football star grumbling about the English climate, in this case there seems to be some real substance behind the snub as Klasnic underwent two career-threatening kidney transplants in the last 18 months and there are reports that warm temperatures are far more becoming to his condition.
Should the reports in The Mirror prove true, this would seem to give Torino the edge in the race to sign the wantaway Werder Bremen star, though the weather in northern Italy in the winter is hardly equator-like.
Based on climate alone, Mallorca would appear to have the best chances to sign him amongst know suitors, though the player himself labled press reports suggesting that he was all set to sign a contract with the Spanish outfit as pure media speculation.
