Palermo coach Davide Ballardini is fully aware that Milan are more technically gifted than his side, but he will try to make up for these differences by having the Rosanero play with a lot of grit.
Ballardini is therefore hoping the Sicilians can repeat their first-half performance against Internazionale in order to come out of tonight’s game with some points.
"We must play on the same level of Milan," affirmed the former Cagliari coach.
"If we manage to repeat the first half we had against Inter, then we will be on the right track. When you face a team with players who have a great ball control like Milan side, it's important to attack them in the spaces, play short football so as to have reference points.
“Palermo will have to play like it knows how to, that is with great intensity."
Palermo are currently in ninth place along with Atalanta, with the team underperforming so far in Serie A, considering the quality of the squad.
