West Ham United's Luis Boa Morte was linked with a Hammers exit last week, with rumours suggesting that he was on his way north to help Phil Brown's Hull City ensure their Premier League survival.

That is not the case, according to Amadeu Paixao, the former Portugal international's agent, who said earlier: "We have read in the newspapers that Hull are interested but we don't know anything about it. This club we do not know.

"Nobody has contacted us to allow Hull to talk to us, nothing has been said to us."

West Ham have repeatedly stated that they will not be selling any of their key senior players, and today rejected an improved bid for their striker Craig Bellamy by Manchester City, but fringe players may move in order to help with the financial pressures that the club is facing.

But Boa Morte is not leaving, and is very happy at West Ham, according to Mr. Paixao, who added: "He has never mentioned that he wants to leave West Ham. He has a house near the training ground, a wife and two kids. He is very happy there."

Boa Morte has been struggling to secure a regular first-team spot at Upton Park since moving there from Fulham in summer 2007 for a £5 million fee. Tigers manager Phil Brown is known to want to add a left-winger to his squad as he fights to prevent Hull slumping down the table as dramatically as they climbed it.
