Eyebrows were raised in some quarters when Everton signed Louis Saha from Manchster United in a deal that could end up costing the Goodison outfit £2 million.
The French striker's time at Old Trafford had been considerably disrupted by a series of injuries and it was felt that he'd not yet really proved himself at the highest level.
Moyes though never doubted the player, and his faith began to be repaid on when Saha netted his first goal by way of a late winner against Fulham followed by an impressive brace in the memorable defeat of West Ham United last week.
"I think he has proved before that he is a very good Premier League striker at both Fulham and Manchester United," Moyes added.
"In the time that he has been here he has missed only one day and has been involved in all the training sessions, he's is starting to settle in and we are getting used to him as well so hopefully his goals will keep flowing.
"I think everything has basically cleared up for him. He naturally keeps himself in shape and prepares properly so that is not a concern for him.
"The match fitness, the regular playing and competing in training is all benefiting him now.
"He has great ability with his feet, it is terrific what he can do with the ball and we have to learn to use that better. It is all going well at the moment and let's hope that carries on."
