Jonathan Santana recently confessed his desire to return to Argentine giants River Plate after having become an increasingly peripheral figure under VfL Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath.
However, the Paraguayan's early departure from their winter base in Jerez had nothing to do with his current dissatisfaction at the club, but rather with the persistent knee problems that have hampered him this term.
