Wolfsburg Loan Munteanu To Arminia Bielefeld
VfL Wolfsburg have elected to loan Vlad Munteanu out again...
Bielefeld's sports director Detlev Dammeier and VfL Wolfsburg chief Felix Magath agreed a deal which includes the option for the 27-year-old to make the move permanent should struggling Arminia achieve survival this season.
The versatile attacker is perhaps best known in Germany for his eleven goals in the 2007/07 season which was the key reason for Energie Cottbus managing to stay in the Bundesliga.
Munteanu joined French outfit AJ Auxerre on loan last January but rejoined the Wolves ahead of the start of the season.
The fringe Romanian international's contract at Wolfsburg officially runs until 2011, but evidently VfL boss Magath is looking to get him off their books well ahead of that.
